Acrylic Face Mounted Prints
The ultimate in gallery quality display and protection
In a unique process, the print is mounted to the back of an optically clear piece of rigid acrylic. This has the effect of protecting the print and enhancing it’s appearance. Then, a layer of Dibond aluminum/composite material is laminated to the back to completely encapsulate the print.
When light strikes the acrylic and reflects off of the print, it creates a dimensional quality that is truly amazing. The interplay of the light with the thickness of the crystal clear acrylic gives the image depth and a 3D appearance.
There is no need for a frame! These prints can be made with a float mount that will make the print hover about 3/4″ off the wall for a clean contemporary effect. They can also be framed for a more traditional look.
The acrylic sheet is 1/8″ thick for prints smaller than 20×24 and 1/4″ for larger prints.
Dibond® is the industry’s leading aluminum composite material (ACM). It is comprised of two sheets of .012″ aluminum with a solid polyethylene core.

While photo papers have fantastic image stability, Xenon Light Stability Testing results show that the image stability of MetalPrints is 2 to 4 times the image stability of traditional silver based photo papers.
Float Mount Hangers
Our Float Mount Hangers are attached to the back of the print, and float the print 1/2-inch off the wall when hung. Styles and selection vary based on the size of the print ordered.
3/4″ Inset Frame
3/4″ Inset Frames are a great alternative to Float Mount Hangers. Inset Frames are recessed from the edges of the print, so the print appears to float away from the wall when hung.

Fine Art Paper Prints
The most traditional of the choices that I offer. Fine Art Paper Prints are made with high-quality archival inks on fine art papers using a high-resolution large format inkjet printer. These premium archival inks produce unsurpassed images with smooth tones and rich colors.
All of the papers are 100% acid free and all prints are of museum quality and have been tested to last over 100 years.
All Fine Art prints are mounted to a rigid substrate that protects the print and keeps it flat and aids in framing.
2mm Styrene
Used for all prints 16×24 and smaller, Styrene is a super smooth plastic mounting substrate that resists warping, making it an excellent choice for adding durability and longevity to your prints.
3/16″ Gatorfoam
For larger prints, Gatorfoam is a very rigid, durable, and lightweight backing that will not warp.
Signature and Border
The size specified for a fine art print is the size of the paper. All Fine Art prints are printed with a 1/2″ border on the top and sides, and a 1″ border on the bottom. This allows for easy matting without touching the image, and also for a signature and date on the bottom.
